Chiavari Chair Hire Definitions Terms and Conditions

“The Customer” means organization or person who purchases goods and services from the company. • The “Company” means Event Hire Wales. • The “Goods” are any items supplied by contract between the customer and the “Company”, regardless of ownership. • The “Contract” is any written, or verbal agreement, between the Company and the customer. General • The terms and conditions shall apply to all contracts for the supply of goods or services by the company to the customer. • All goods remain the property of the company. • The Company Reserve the right to substitute any items as a result of circumstances beyond its control. • All goods, once taken delivery of, become the responsibility of the customer. • Goods shall be delivered in good working order unless notice is received to the contrary • The customer should notify the company, within 2 hours of taking delivery, to any damage to the goods identified by the customer. • The Company shall not accept substitute items. Delivery & Collection • Delivery and collections will be charged as agreed at the time of order. • Delivery and collections made outside normal working hours shall be subject to an additional fee. • Unless a lift is available, deliveries and collections shall only be made to the ground floor level, with reasonable access (at the driver’s discretion). • Please note collection is not permitted Your responsibilities • Customers shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the goods are not damaged or misused during the hire period. • The customer shall not attempt to sell or otherwise dispose of the goods. • The customer shall pay the company for any repair or replacement of goods that are lost, stolen or damaged beyond reasonable repair. • The Customer will be charged a replacement fee if any indoor furniture is left outside in poor weather conditions. • The customer will be charged £10 per cushion, or £5 per cover, for any damage deemed excessive from fire, moulds, irremovable stains and tears. • If the whole chair is broken and beyond repair a charge of £49.00 per chair will be charged to the hirer.

 

Doughnut Wall Terms and Conditions

Bookings

1.1 Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation email from us and a deposit payment or full payment is received.

1.2 By placing an order with us either verbally or via e-mail regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.

1.3 In the event that Event Hire Wales is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of Event Hire Wales, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form.

1.4 Event Hire Wales cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, and breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances our liability will be limited to refunding all of monies paid.

Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments

2.1 All hires are subject to a deposit of at least £50 (Deposit is non-refundable).

2.2 The remaining balance to be paid in full and cleared 28 days prior to the event start date. If the operator uses the equipment for a time period in excess of the service period agreed, the coverage in rental time will be billed to the operator and must be paid before additional hours are provided.

2.3 Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification.

2.4 Event Hire Wales reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts at 2% above its banker’s current interest rate

Cancelations

3.1 Any cancelled order is subject to the following cancelation charges: Within 8 weeks prior to event 20% of order value Within 6 weeks prior to event 50% of order value Within 4 weeks prior to event 75% of order value Within 2 weeks prior to event 100% of order value

Equipment

4.1 The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

4.2 All sizes quoted are approximate

4.3 All goods remain the property of the company at all times.

4.4 The company reserve the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

5.1 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once set up. Please ensure there is sufficient space at your venue to set up the Doughnut Wall.

5.2 Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use Doughnut Wall.

5.3 Please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting the Doughnut Wall up more demanding, including going upstairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within you price, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will come out of the run time.

5.4 The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event.

5.5 The equipment we use is only suitable for in-door use and can only be used outside with the proper facilities to protect the equipment from the elements. This must be agreed before making a booking.

Liability & Insurance

5.6 The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

5.7 The company accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

All other terms and conditions

5.8 Event Hire Wales may use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means; this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or on the Internet. Attending your event would mean we you agree and yourselves and your guests have granted permission to do so.

5.9 By hiring a Doughnut Wall from Event Hire Wales means you agree to all of our Terms and Conditions.

Dance Floor Terms & Conditions 
Bookings
1.1 Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation email from us and a deposit payment or full payment is received.
1.2 By placing an order with us either verbally or via e-mail or social media regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.
1.3 In the event that Event Hire Wales is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of, then the hire, Event Hire Wales will still end as per the agreed time on booking form. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form.
1.5 Event Hire Wales accepts no responsibility for any damaged caused to the flooring its dance floors are laid on. No drinks are to be allowed on to the dance floor for health and safety reasons. The client will be held responsible for the conduct of his/her guests and be held responsible for any injured person/s due to drinks being spilt or glasses being smashed during the hire period. Please ensure the dance floor area is clear in advance of our installation team’s arrival.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

5.2 Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use the Led Dance floor
5.3 Please inform us of any circumstances that would make laying the Led Dance floor up more demanding, including going upstairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within your price, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will come out of the run time.
5.4 We can only provide and install our dance floor on a solid and flat area. No furniture such as a tables or chairs are to be placed on the dance floor. Please check with us before proceeding with a booking if you are unsure of these conditions. If our installation team arrive at the venue and feel that the conditions are unsuitable we reserve the right to refuse the installation without refund. In the case where it is unsafe or unsuitable to lay the full coverage of the ordered floor, our team will install the most appropriate size they can.
5.5 The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event.
5.6 The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company.
5.7 The equipment we use is only suitable for in-door use and can only be used outside with the proper facilities to protect the equipment from the elements. This must be agreed before making a booking.
Liability & Insurance
6.1 The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire. In the event of any equipment-requiring repair as a result of negligence, misuse or abuse, then the Client shall bear the cost of any such repair. In the event that the goods are damaged beyond economical repair, or are lost, you are required to cover all replacement cost involved.  
6.2 The company accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.
All other terms and conditions
7.1 Event Hire Wales may use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means; this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or on the Internet. Continuing to proceed with the hire would mean you / your guests have granted us permission to do so.
